There is an obvious philosophical problem with radiocarbon dating. It assumes, as I understand, a specific rate of continual atomic decay. If that rate should change at any time due to any variable that we don’t know about then the dating will be wrong. We can only be sure of its rates over the period of time that we have had to observe the decay, which is barely 100 years. If there should be a change in the rate after 500 years, well, then our assumption will be wrong. Now we can extend that by comparing the method of dating with historical record, of course, and if they coincide then we can reasonably assume that the dating works back that far. But that only works for the length of time that humans have kept historical records, and beyond that again we are forced to turn to assumption and cannot really be sure that there is never any change in the rate of decay. I say this, not as a geologist, because I’m not, but simply as a man who uses his brain. If anyone can show how I’m definitively wrong, I’d be interested.

Great article Dinesh! Sounds like the U.S. Geological Survey lab in New Mexico, used the wrong terminology when describing melted pottery.
The correct general term is melt glass or impact glass, not trinitite.
For pottery and building materials, archaeologists and geologists would usually speak of vitrified ceramics or vitrified material—meaning clay or other sediments that have been melted into a glassy state by very high temperatures.
If the Tall el-Hammam material formed in a high‑temperature, high‑velocity event (such as a cosmic airburst or impact), the most precise neutral term is impact melt glass. If it is mainly pottery that has partially melted, vitrified pottery/ceramics is the standard description.
“Trinitite” is a proper name reserved for the specific nuclear-test glass from the Trinity site in 1945; using it for ancient shards is technically incorrect and misleading.
There may have been some "fulgurite" in excavation site also, that is similar to when lightning hits sand (it turns into shards of greenish colored glass; I have found these in the Sleeping Bear sand dunes in Northern Lower Michigan).

Researchers found many sulfua balls in the area that was believed to be Sodom & Gomorrah.

Why do we need to limit the search area to just off the southern tip?
Why we cannot understand that the limits of Canaan were from the southern tip all the way to the northern area of the Dead Sea lake?
Sodom was the city most to the south, then some miles north of it Gomorrah, and even north of it the other two cities.
