Biblically, demons caused many disturbances. They haven’t left planet Earth. And since they are still here, they are still speaking and deceiving. They’re thrilled that every so-called psychological problem has a convenient label. The unseen world is more real than this temporary one. And it is much more powerful. A wise Christian psychiatrist stated that the church has abdicated her role as healer. I agree.
As someone with 2 brothers and a son in law with varying degrees of mental abnormalities, I reached the same conclusion that mental illness is a giant portal for demonic influence. The greater the mental abnormality, the bigger the portal. Fortunately, my older brother is a relatively mild case. The younger is unmanageable without medication. I can't help but grieve for my step daughter. I tried hard to gently warn her, that what I saw in him looked very much like my ex, which was a nightmare straight out of hell. After 21 years, I still grieve the loss of my own kids. Now I grieve for a step daughter whom I can't protect either. I don't claim to have a solution for what to do with these people except to lock them up. They must be taken out of society.
Where do you see free will in this? If the devil made her do it, then shouldn’t we hold her responsible for listening to the devil and how do you hold the devil responsible?
Excellent. Makes one think. Makes one consider the powers and principalities we were told we battle against. How does one stay free of demonic influences? By filling one's mind with God, goodness, His Word, and recognition of the enemy's tactics. By saying no to the enemy and not messing with his temptations that are traps. God answers me when I call for HIS help in dark thoughts. It works that way for everyone. HE waits for your call. He loves you.
I have a relative who was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The family trusted him to take his medication, not realizing that he was dangerous. He took some of his medication, but not all as was prescribed. He killed his wife because "the voices" told him to. He was and is a Christian man, and in his right mind, wouldn't hurt a fly. Today his medications are supervised and he's as normal and harmless as can be.
What gobbledygook. I believe there is some sort of demons out there, why not. This woman has had problems for a very long time, she was taking medications that seem to be involved in multiple mass killings, mind altering drugs. She should absolutely be held responsible and put in a nut house that way she will never get out from what I hear. I believe the doctors are guilty of something here and the use of these drugs need to be monitored heavily this just happens to often not to.
I think it is important to make a distinction to the devil made me do it. The devil tempts us and does not force us to do anything that is not what we already want to do. She was not told to kill her children and then herself. She was tempted by a male voice in her mind to kill her children and then herself. She gave into that temptation, committed murder, and then tried to commit suicide.
Imagine 100’s of men lined up on a road praising another man for killing his kids!
